How to sell digital downloads
We are living in a digital era and more and more things are becoming digital. It would actually be quite weird if nobody was trying to make money selling downloads as this is an excellent way to make money online. There are a few good websites on the Internet where you can sell downloads and this article will give some advise on how to sell digital downloads.
The most important thing you will need when you are selling digital downloads is off course digital products. There are many products you could sell, some of them are ebooks, software, games, photo’s, movies and much much more. The advantage of selling these products is that the buyer will get his products the instant he pays for them. He will no longer need to wait for a package to arrive or collect it at the post office. But how can we make this to our advantage and make money with it?
1) First you need to have digital downloads. Think about ebooks, PLR, MRR, photo’s, everything you own as long as you are not breaking any copyrights. There are some great websites providing you with new software every month that you could sell.
2) The second step is finding some websites where you can sell. There are many websites where you are able to sell photo’s. However, I like selling at Tradebit and Payloadz, 2 very big websites where you are able to sell downloads.
3) The next step is uploading your products and write a unique sales letter. It is very important to write your own and not copy it because duplicate content will not rank high in Google. Unique content is the best way to attract visitors.
4) Do research for your product. Know what words you need to use in your tags and topic title. Doing this wrong and you will not make any money at all.
5) Get some backlinks and use the proper anchor texts. When I checked out my competition I saw no backlinks at all and most of them did not use the correct tags. Off course I could care less as this is an excellent opportunity to rank my products on spot 1 for Google
6) Do not stop after adding 10 or 20 products. There are many duplicate products and you need to throw a lot to the wall to see what sells. Therefore you need quantity next to quality.
The great thing is that you do not have to stick with one website, upload your products to all websites you know and increase your earnings. When you know what you are doing this is an excellent way to make more money online.

What you can do if you are a beginner is, try to get a free membership to a Master Resale Rights e-book website and download some of the best e-books with master resale rights, then go the the websites where you can sell the downloads, open a free account, upload the products one by one, and fill in the blanks. Choose good descriptive titles, because that’s very important for the ranking of the pages in Google, of course.
