This article is about how to get started: Making money online. When you are a beginning Internet entrepreneur there is a lot of information coming your way on what to do first. You probably have read a dozen blogs where people are telling that they are making money online. But after a few weeks or months or blog reading it is time to stop reading and get started making money online.
The first step in making money with the Internet is coming in action. Most people are trapped with quality blogs and they keep reading and reading until they get so much information that they do not know how and where to start. A few months ago I was in exactly the same position, until I read a blog about an amazing guy doing amazing work and making a huge amount of money in only a short time. The first thing he stated was that people should stop reading blogs and act more. The more you read, the more you will get confused on what to do.
OK, so we should come in action, but where to start? How to start? The good thing about these questions is that everybody has a different approach. If I look at myself than my mistakes were that I wanted to do too much at the same time. However, wanting too much resulted in doing to little. I had a dozen websites but almost no content or back links. The result of this was no money and that is hard to cope with if you want to make money that bad. So a few months ago I wanted some more structure in my work so I could see what I had done and what I should do more. I made some excel sheets with a business plan what to do first. It varied from buying a domain, installing the proper plug ins to writing content and doing the back links every week. On another excel sheet I keep track on the topics of my articles and with what anchor texts they are linked. Although this is some extra work, it helped me get started making money online. The good thing about this is that at every moment I just open up an excel sheet of a website and I know instantly what to do and how to do it.
Working with a business plan is an excellent way in getting some structure into your Internet Marketing as information flooding is a serious threat. Now I only have a dozen websites, but if I have a hundred it is hard to keep track without proper planning. So my advice to all Internet Marketeers is to keep track of what you are doing and write it down so you can easily check what to do next. It is an excellent way to make money at home.
