Nobody exactly knows how the Google algorithm works, besides the people working for Google. However, many experienced Internet Marketer found ways how they could target their niches the best way. One of these important ways is your main keyword or topic you want to write about. You should always try to write quality content that has some use for the people who are looking for it, but you also want to target your content so that they can find you.

If you are writing about Killer Sharks than which article has the most chance to get on page 1 of Google, ‘Killer sharks in the wild’ or ‘How deadly are sharks that kill’? You should always keep in mind the phrase people will use to come to your website. If I want to know something about Killer sharks than I would use that phrase in Google and not the second one. Both are titles for the same topic but the first one has the most chance to attract visitors.

This example works for just every niche on the Internet. When I write articles for my websites than I always target a certain keyword that I found in the Google Keyword Tool. This is a great free tool from Google that every Internet Marketer should use.

Targeting exact keywords is not the only thing you need to do to get the most out of your articles. Most people that blog have smaller websites and they will never rank for the high paying short keywords like sharks, make money and so on. However, targeting long tail keywords that have not much competition is a great way to get some traffic from those high paying niches. To summarize, you want to target exact keywords that people use in Google and have no competition. In this way you are able to attract visitors to your website without having a strong pagerank/authority. In other posts I told about how to find keywords, related keywords, profitable keywords and how to use them. For most people it is quite a big problem coming up with some basic words to find keywords. They always get stuck to the same ones and these are maybe not always as profitable. So how can you find a diversity of keywords that will help you writing about just everything?

This article will give some keywords tips you could use when you are looking for new ones. When I started out a few months ago with writing hubs on hubpages I had big trouble finding some good keywords. I simply did not know what to fill in the Google Keyword Tool. Luckily I came by some people giving advice on the matter. When you are doing this for a couple of months you almost do not have any problems anymore with finding some good keywords that you can use for your websites.

When you do not have much inspiration there are many ways how to find keywords. I will give some keyword finding tips that will help you:

1) Go to amazon and look for some products and product categories. Just write them down and fill them in the Keyword Tool. The good thing about this tool is that it will find you related keywords but also it gives results of keywords that are of a similar topic. For instance, when you are looking for alcohol addiction, it will also give results about cocaine addiction etc etc. If you fill in new words in the tool this will help you a lot.

2) Ezines directory is another great way to find keywords. Most articles written here are for promoting websites. You could have a look on some articles and see what they are about or you could fill in some categories in the keyword tool. This will probably give you a lot of results.

3) The way I do it is the following: I have a website about widgets and already have some categories like red widgets, green, blue etc. Every time I need new keywords I will choose one category and use it in the tool. In this way I will get related keywords to my category.

4) Watch commercials you see on television about certain products and fill these in the tool. You could also use commercials you see on billboards. Put everything you come up with in the tool and see what it spits out.

How to sell digital downloads

We are living in a digital era and more and more things are becoming digital. It would actually be quite weird if nobody was trying to make money selling downloads as this is an excellent way to make money online. There are a few good websites on the Internet where you can sell downloads and this article will give some advise on how to sell digital downloads.

The most important thing you will need when you are selling digital downloads is off course digital products. There are many products you could sell, some of them are ebooks, software, games, photo’s, movies and much much more. The advantage of selling these products is that the buyer will get his products the instant he pays for them. He will no longer need to wait for a package to arrive or collect it at the post office. But how can we make this to our advantage and make money with it?

1) First you need to have digital downloads. Think about ebooks, PLR, MRR, photo’s, everything you own as long as you are not breaking any copyrights. There are some great websites providing you with new software every month that you could sell.

2) The second step is finding some websites where you can sell. There are many websites where you are able to sell photo’s. However, I like selling at Tradebit and Payloadz, 2 very big websites where you are able to sell downloads.

3) The next step is uploading your products and write a unique sales letter. It is very important to write your own and not copy it because duplicate content will not rank high in Google. Unique content is the best way to attract visitors.

4) Do research for your product. Know what words you need to use in your tags and topic title. Doing this wrong and you will not make any money at all.

5) Get some backlinks and use the proper anchor texts. When I checked out my competition I saw no backlinks at all and most of them did not use the correct tags. Off course I could care less as this is an excellent opportunity to rank my products on spot 1 for Google

6) Do not stop after adding 10 or 20 products. There are many duplicate products and you need to throw a lot to the wall to see what sells. Therefore you need quantity next to quality.

The great thing is that you do not have to stick with one website, upload your products to all websites you know and increase your earnings. When you know what you are doing this is an excellent way to make more money online.

How to find Related Keywords

I already told in another post what the relevance is of doing research for profitable keywords. In this article I will go to the next step of doing research for keywords and explain how you can optimize your earnings with article writing in finding relating keywords. It does not stop by writing an article and use your main keyword as there are some other things you could do to make more money out of your article.

Maybe you noticed that when you were pasting some keywords in the Google Keyword Tool that sometimes related keywords showed up. You probably did not mention to much attention to it as you were only looking to profitable keywords and not the related keywords were only a few people are looking for. However, when it comes to the writing of the article these related keywords are very important. If you add 5 related keywords to every article you write, you will give a boost to the potential earnings. Sometimes it is even easier to rank for these keywords than for the main one. So how does it works?

1) If you did your work well you probably have a list of about 100 keywords. You checked them for competition and they all passed the criteria. The next step is pasting your keyword back in to Google Keyword Tool and see what related keywords show up. Write these down in your excel sheet as you will need them later on.

2) When you start writing about your keyword, try to also write about the related keywords you found in the Google Tool. They are great as a synonym for not overusing your main keyword.

3) Every article has tags and tags are important for google as you are letting know where the article is about. You will optimize your article for Google by using the related keywords as tags.

4) The final step is back linking. Do not just use one anchor text but use all variations you wrote down; the main keyword and the related ones.

In this simple but effective way you are able to get the most out of your articles. It is a great way in making more money with the same article and it will only cost you a little more time. Just try it out and see the results for yourself.

Probably not many people have heard about Tradebit yet. However they have a great website and their website authority makes it able to make money with them in 2 ways.

Yes they have an excellent affiliate system so you can make money with a variety of products. So what is the great deal about selling downloads? Apparently because it works and many people are making hundreds of dollars with them and some a lot more. The advantage of the system is that people pay for a product and are able to download their purchase instantly. In this way they pay a few bucks for a book or a nice photo and they have it a few moments later. They also have a great service for people who do not recieve what they expected. Some people are trying to make money with Tradebit by misusing the system and sell illegal products. However you should not sell illegal stuff on Tradebit as they will ban you and give your money back to the people you sold the illegal products to. You should also not use other people there sales letter because you will create duplicate content and this is not good for you and for Tradebit. If you stick with these rules than you can make some nice money with it.

How to find Profitable keywords for a niche site

First let me explain what I mean with Profitable keywords and why it is so important to do research for your keywords. A keyword is the main topic of a website or article. It is the main thing you are writing about and the word you want people to find your website with when they search in Google or other search engines. The main keyword for this website for instance is how to make money online for beginners. A profitable keyword is a main keyword that has the potential to make money with. This is not just a matter on how much you will earn when someone would click your ads, it is about how many visitors are you able to attract to your website with that word and how much money could you make with it.

The most important thing to consider when you are researching new keywords is how much competition there is out there. You want to fight the small fish and not bother any sharks because then you will get eaten and don’t earn anything at all. So it is important to find a keyword that has the potential to make you money and does not has to much competition. The big question off course would be how are we going to do that?

Everybody has his or her own rules when it comes to doing research for keywords. This is not a solid scientific way but it works out for me so maybe it will also work for you. Generally there are 2 ways how you could find new keywords. The first has a cut off line when it comes to potential, you want to find as many keywords with the help of the Google keyword tool and all put them in an excel sheet. With many I truly mean many, try to get hundreds or thousands of keywords which you will analyze later on. After you did this, you will make use of the cut off line. All words that do not have a potential to make more than $50 a month go right to the garbage can. For the others we have to do some research how much competition they have. Do a search in Google for the word and see what comes up. There are some nice tools that will help you analyze how strong a website is. Try to target websites that have a pagerank of 3 and below. These are the ones you have a chance beating them if you do a lot of linking.

The second method is actually a lot a like the first one but there is no cutoff line. You will try to target profitable keywords that have almost no competition at all and only have a potential of some bucks a month. The good thing with the second method is that it is much easier to rank for these keywords. When you got some authority for the lower keywords you could eventually go for method 1 and only target the more profitable keywords.

This is not a matter of trying this out a few times, you need to know what works and what does not. Write some articles everyday and see what sticks. Try at least a few hundred (yes a few hundred) to get the hang of it. Again, squidoo, hubpages and infobarrel are excellent websites for trying out your keywords. When you know what you are doing you know the basic of making money online.

However, how to make money through ebay if you have no experience at all? This article will give some basic advise where to start and what options there are to make money with ebay.

When I just started I asked myself what can I sell on ebay to make money with? It is not easy selecting the products you want to sell because you will have to do some kind of investment in buying products before you can sell them. Before you do this you want to be sure that you can actually make money with it instead of losing money. There is actually another option you could consider. Drophshipping is a very popular concept among powersellers on ebay. They don’t have any risks involved in buying stock, instead they just have to dropship the items.

How to make money writing articles: Creating a authority site

I already wrote the basics on how to make money writing online and now I will go to the next step on how to make money writing article by creating an authority website. An authority website is a very large website with hundreds of informative content. Instead of attacking a niche with only a few articles, now you will try to create authority with your main domain name and in that way let your articles rank more easily.

An authority site is totally different than when you are making a niche website. A niche will attack a certain keyword and consists of a few articles but never more than 10 or 20. An authority site however consists of at least 100 articles and preferably even more. By creating mass quality content your website will be trusted in the eyes of Google and let you rank for more keywords. So how can you make your own authority website?

You start out by doing research to keyword selection. Read more at my article about how to get top listings on google how this basically works. You will need to find hundreds or maybe thousands of keywords with low competition. After you have found a lot of green keywords (keywords with no competition), it is time to divide them in groups and form an umbrella. It is best to select a certain large niche and make categories in advance. For instance: If your website will be about widgets than you can make categories like: red widgets, green widgets, blue widgets. You can place the articles in the correct category and your article will be something like ‘How to paint red widgets’. What I am trying to say is that your main websites needs to be an umbrella for all related articles. You do not want to have a website about loans and write about making money online. Try to select one niche and find related keywords to that niche.

There are different options in selecting your keywords. You could go for the keywords that will make the most money. This is a very popular method but when you have a new website it will be very hard to even rank for keywords with low competition. What you will need is keywords with no competition at all. Write about things that are searched for 150 times a month and have no competing websites. In this way you will attract some visitors and build up a little authority. Later on when you have created more authority you will be able to rank for keywords with more competition. Off course you will also need to create many back links for the authority. Although I am a big fan of make money writing articles, we should not forget on affiliate marketing. There are quite some advantages on affiliate marketing and of you know what you are doing you will be able to make a lot of money with it. When you did your research it will be much easier to get top listings on Google because you have analyzed the competition and you know you can beat them.
