How to get top listings on Google

As an Internet Marketeer you want to make money online and the best way doing this is by getting on the first page of Google. In Internet language visitors mean possible money. It does not matter how you are planning to make money, because every way will need to attract visitors. So how to get top listings on Google?

There are probably a lot of different ideas on this topic as every Internet Marketeer will have his own way to promote his websites. But it is not only a matter of creating links when you want to promote your website. Actually most work is done by doing research about a subject before you are planning to write about it. There are 3 important steps you have to do in the research to optimize your article writing and have a bigger chance on top listings. But first let me state that whatever you do and how good you do it, sometimes it will just not work. This is no personal failure, some sites just will not rank in google. That is why you should never have one website but always aim to have at least a couple of websites.

Research step 1: Keyword selection is the most important and crucial part of optimizing your article writing. If you select a niche you want to write about you will need to know how people will find you. We can see what keywords people are using with the Google Adsense keyword selection tool. This tool is very useful as it will let you see how many people are searching for a certain word and how much advertisement cost they will pay for it. In this way you can see how much money you are able to make with some keywords.

Research step 2: When you have yourself a huge list of potential moneymakers you have to do further research to the competition of the words. Most Marketeers will not start with a PageRank 5 website and so they are not able to compete with bigger websites yet. You have to check the competition for the keywords to see what websites are on the first 5 spots. If these are all PR4 and 5 than it is better not to go after this keyword because it will take you a couple of years to come even close. You should go for the PR 2 and 3 at most because you will know that eventually you are able to beat these websites. It will cost you some work, but you can if you put enough effort in it.

Research step 3: Actually this is not research anymore as you have the information you needed. But a very important step and how to get top listings on Google is by using your exact keyword in your article title. You do not want to know how many people go wrong on this matter and loose very much money.

If you do these 3 steps wright than it will be much easier to rank higher on Google. When you did your research it will be much easier to get top listings on Google because you have analyzed the competition and you know you can beat them. When you start using this method you could do it with hubpages for instance. When you know what you are doing and you see that it works you can make your own niche site and attach the top listings on Google, good luck with it.

How to get on the first page of Google

When you have build yourself a nice website you probably want some visitors on it. You want to let Google index your website and in that way appear in the SERP’s. In this article I will explain how you can get on the first page of Google. Actually it is not that difficult to appear on page one of Google, it is all a matter of choosing topic and know a little about SEO.

First let me rephrase what I just said. Off course it is not easy to get on page one of Google, that is if your website is about very competitive topics like loans, beauty products or making money online. These are very hard topics to rank high in Google as you can make a lot of money with these subjects. But the world does not end with creditcards and acne, there are a million more keywords to choose from. Getting on page one of Google is a matter of researching the competition. You want to write about a subject like loans or creditcards but because of the competition you will not get ranked on page one, not even close.

But if you search another topic with less competition than you have a good chance to get on page one just by selecting the wright domain name, website name and getting some back links.

A domain name is a very important SEO factor. If you do not believe me than do a search in Google for credit cards and you will see creditcards.com on number one and off course this is no coincidence. If you want to write about a topic than it is important that you have your keywords in to your domain name. If you want to write about the difference between dementia and alzheimers than having these keywords in your domain will give you a huge benefit.

A more important factor is to choose a topic with not much competition. If you see the example above, you will see that there are a few PR 1’s on top and one PR4. You will not need much SEO work to get on top of the Google rankings with this keyword.

Domain name and research are important factors, but you will always need back links to your website. Without them you will not get anywhere. However an important issue is that you have to get the correct anchor texts when you are making links. Back links are essential to promote your website and attract visitors to your website. Without back links aiming to your website you will not appear on the first pages of Google. One way back links are probably the best links to get as they will give you the highest boost on the Google rankings. In this article I will write how to get one way links for your website.

When I build my websites I have a tight schedule how I promote it and where I get my links. As I told before in other articles, there are many different ways how to get one way links. Most Internet marketeers will agree with each other that the best links you can get are from an article directory called Ezines. This is the strongest article directory on the Internet and getting links from them will help you to get on the first pages of Google. However, the more links you will get from one website, the less it will boost your website. So links from ezines will help you but you have to get other one way links to.

In other articles I have written how you could make money with writing articles on Infobarrel, Hubpages and squidoo. However, these websites are also very good for collecting links to your website. They will not help you as much as ezines, but they are very good links you could get. Next to these there are many more article directories you could consider to collect strong links. But why should we only get those time consuming strong links?

After you have got some strong links it is time to aim your attention on some weaker links. The advantage of weaker links is that they are easier to get and you can get many of them. There are some software programs that let you post your articles on thousands of directories and in this way get many back links. You could also consider posting your website to link directories. Posting your website to a link directory is an easy way to get some extra inks.

Another frequently method of collecting one way back links to your website is blog commenting. Try to find some websites that are related to your website and have dofollow comments. If you post some quality posts you have a very good chance the posts are approved and you have yourself a new one way link.

The last way how to get one way links is by RSS feed. This is a new method where you can add your website to rss feed directories. This is a simple and effective way to get even more links to your website.

When you have a website or a blog you probably have put a lot of effort in it. Probably you want this effort be awarded with some visitors who will read your posts on your website. The best way to attract visitors to your website is getting back links to strengthen your website in Google. The best link that you can get is one way back links. In this article I will give a short overview what back links are and how you should make them.

Back links are required to attract visitors to your website. There are many, many, many ways how to get links but there is some difference in the quality of the links. The best known links are the blogroll links. You ask fellow website owners to trade links with each other so you will both attract visitors. There are two reasons why you want back links to your website. One reason is that you want to place a link to your website on a place where potential visitors are. If you have a chance to place your link on wikipedia for instance, that would probably attract a lot of visitors from that website.

Another reason to get links, and a more important reason, is that collecting links to your website will strengthen its authority in the Google search directory. Simply said, the more links you will get, the higher your website will appear on the search results (SERP’s). However, there is a difference in quality of the links you get.

Reciprocal linking: This is probably what most of us are doing. We trade links with another website owner and both link our websites to each other.

One way back links: The name already says it, this is a single link aimed at your website. You can get single links mostly from article directories or free link exchange directories. The single link is very powerful and that is the reason why these directories are so popular.

3 way link: Actually this is the same principle as a one way back link. Only now you don’t need a link directory, but you can do this with another website owner when one of you has 2 related websites. Instead of reciprocal linking, you will aim you link on one website and receive a link back from the other websites. These are also very strong links.

The strongest links are the links you will get naturally to your websites and these are all one way links. However, getting natural links is not so easy so most often you have to help nature. Posting your link in article directories is a very good way to receive single links and strengthen your website in the SERPs.
